Original Empire is a project born with socio-educational and entertainment purposes, in which stories are told of individuals who have been able to make their passion into their lifestyle.
People skilled in creating a vision of themselves, willing enough to turn it into reality. Aptitude, resourcefulness, dedication are some of the qualities that unite them, thus able to build their own Original Empire. Various topics will be addressed, such as investments in the real estate sector, quality of life in different cities around the world, overseas travel, love of sports, and opportunities for personal growth.
This is the platform’s goal, to offer its followers content of great interest and quality, with the hope of motivating them to leave their current comfort zone, reaching a meaningful life.
So how do you move out of your comfort zone? It’s simple: be honest about your excuses; recognize your strengths and take advantage of them; and finally, jump in. If you make a few mistakes along the way, don’t worry. It’s just another part of the learning process. Our relationships are one of the most important parts of our lives. Through support, connection, and unity, we become our best selves.
The contents and topics of Original Empire are written entirely by Yarim Delpino, they are addressed from a subjective point of view, with the utmost transparency and impartiality.
Yarim Delpino is an Italian entrepreneur who has had the ability to professionally reinvent himself in multiple circumstances. Growing up in a seaside village (Sori), he spent most of his childhood in the swimming pool, playing water polo.
At the age of 12 he moved to the port city of Genoa, where he experienced the reality of neighborhood gangs up close. An intense adolescence in which he grew up quickly, seeing many boys abandoned to their fate. His natural leadership skills have allowed him to be respected in the neighborhood, in the sports team and in high school. Being able to finally get out of unsuitable friendships, he completed his higher studies in Sociology and enrolled at the University.
After graduating in Political Science and specializing in Journalism, he had a break in television as a sports journalist, working closely with Italian Serie A football teams. At the age of 25 he felt that dedicating himself to a single profession would not allow him to express all his creativity and ability in different sectors. So it was from that moment onwards that he began to travel and learn languages, getting to know different cultures and challenging himself on a professional level. Between 2013 and 2017 Yarim lived in 7 different cities holding managerial roles in Retail, Fashion, Hospitality, International Sport Events and Real Estate.
In 2017, he specialized in Sport Development obtaining a Diploma at the CSF College in Sydney – Australia. During the same year he managed, together with the former captain of the Australian national water polo team, and former President of the federation Thomas Whalan, to export a private water polo event on the international scene. Later, in search of new motivations, he moved to Barcelona where he currently deals with real estate investments and sports sponsorships. He also received a scholarship from Unisport Management School for an MBA in Sports Management.
Yarim is happily married with Russian model Diana Shmatok.
” From my youth I felt I had different personalities and facets (perhaps subconsciously). I knew what my passions were, but day after day my curiosity towards unknown territories evolved naturally. Sport, music, art, cinema, adventures, business, freedom, the sea, travel, and friendship. I never had the conviction or the will to pursue a single passion or activity. I created this project with the curiosity and enthusiasm of a child, eager to hear the stories and experiences of the older ones, who may have found their greatest passion. Perhaps by not having had a solid reference point in my youth, both on a human and professional level, has allowed me to immerse myself in the unknown, in the reckless, in the new. I would have liked to have been an actor, an elite sportsman, a singer, but also a surfer, a poet, a doctor. I am passionate about politics, not the current one but the abstract one, the one that I would like to operate for the good of a city or a country. I love animals, to the point that I briefly considered becoming a vet. I am fascinated by communication, journalism, and reportage. Seeing people working as war correspondents fills me with pride and esteem for them.”
There are so many possibilities in this world that, for souls like mine it is difficult to be able to “choose”, having to decide who to be, what to do in this life, what to carry on and above all why? Unlike many people who ask the classic question: “What do you do?” perhaps to give a label to the person in front of them; I have always lived this question with great suspense and interest, inspiring myself thanks to their response. “I am a fisherman, I wake up every morning at 4 and return home at 12 “. “I am the Manager of an important international firm, I travel almost always”. “I take care of the kiosks on the ski slopes, I only work 5 months a year”. Each answer, each person, has a world of its own to discover.
Now the point is, what to do after reaching the top, sipping a cup of hot tea, watching a breathtaking sunset; after having achieved the realization that something great has been accomplished. We must move forward, we must set the next goal but above all, we must share our experiences with others, with young people or with those who need extra motivation. Have you ever wondered why there are athletes who participate in 4, 5 even 6 Olympics? More than 20 years training every day at the highest level, as if it were the last. They don’t do it just to fill their ego or to get their paycheck at the end of the month. They do it because they have a life mission, they have a purpose, they respect people who have nothing and they want to be a positive example for them. Do you think it’s easy to spend hours and hours training and struggling? Just because they have talent don’t they struggle? do they not suffer, do they not cry out for the effort made? THEY HAVE BUILT THE TALENT, DAY AFTER DAY. Including geniuses like Michael Jordan, Lionel Messi, Nadal, Federer, Phelps, they worked hard and showed up to training every single day.
The ideal of “EASY WIN” exists only through tricks or through corruption; this is applied in the life of all of us, in order to build an Original Empire you need a vision; this must be developed and carried forward through sacrifice, passion, dedication and great mental strength.
Will it be worth it?
